POLITICS2 – ethnic cleansing
Maybe you don’t know what ethnic cleansing is; is that possible? It is a despicable power play. And now we know that it is an early warning sign of a totalitarian take over and now we know that even America can fall. As citizens we need to know how it rears its ugly head and what we can do about it – people are dying already. The dictionary is pretty straightforward – “the mass expulsion or killing of members of an unwanted ethnic or religious group in a society.”
If this comes from an evangelical point of view; well, sharpen your knives for a religious war. Evangelicals have always seemed a little too white to touch; it is their way or the highway; it won’t matter if you are a Catholic, a Jew, a Muslim, an atheist, a Taoist but what will matter is that you don’t toe their line. What better way to deal with your enemies than just kill them. Well, just resist them. Make them pay.
Consider, the Israelis are committing ethnic cleansing against the Palestinians; they want to kill them all. Well, just resist them. Make them pay.
Consider, rump and his goons are tooling up to commit ethnic cleansing against Latinos. If you ain’t white, you ain’t right. Well, just resist them. Make them pay.
Consider, the Nazis committed ethnic cleansing against European Jews, gays, persons of color. If you ain’t white, you ain’t right. Well, again, just resist them. Make them pay.
What the hell is wrong with white people? You go down this road a certain distance and you cease to be human; oh, you might look human but you are really a MAGA. This shit has been going on for a long time and no one should escape consequence for their despicable behavior. White supremacy my ass.
First step to deal with this, is to actively confront its expression every time you see it. You know they are cowards. This all grows out of sight until the prejudice is at your door – as I have said before, do you really think they won’t come for you? America has always engaged in ethnic cleansing; well, let’s be clear the “white people” here have engaged in this hateful practice. Rump and his boys are doing this right now. The masked thugs and the concentration camps are both meant to foster this.
Stand by the people who are suffering from this abuse. The other guys want power; power to push their agenda. There will come time when we all must confront these evil thugs; perhaps sooner than you expect – LA is already standing up. In the movie Avatar, one of the female leads says “You’re not the only one with a gun.” Somehow the right wing fanatics dont understand that we are Americans and we will fight to protect our country. They have poked the bear one time too many.
I am 75. Will I stand alone. Wake the fuck up. Resist, resist now.
